If a passenger does not use the flight, taxes and airport fees are always refundable.

With most airlines, you can cancel your flight within 24 hours by contacting a hotline or refund management center.

Even so, it is always advisable to read the rules and regulations of the airlines in question before buying a ticket.
Traditional airlines and the death of a close relative
All airlines offer reimbursement of the total cost of the ticket purchase in the event of the death of a loved one – usually from the first line of relationship.
All you need to do is send the appropriate request with the death certificate, but no later than 28 days before the scheduled departure.
Traditional airlines and illness
Even if the airline’s terms and conditions don’t include it, it’s worth making a request due to illness. Each airline considers it individually, so it won’t hurt to try.

A refund of the cost of purchasing a ticket occurs when a flight on a given route is canceled, annulled or the connection is no longer available at all.

We can take out such insurance ourselves, but it will be valid provided that it was purchased no later than 48 hours to 5 days from the time of booking, and no later than 1 day before departure.
