To make a candle in a jar you will need:

  • two glass jars,
  • a wick,
  • paraffin wax cubes,
  • a sprig of dried flowers,
  • a saucepan,
  • a metal can,
  • kitchen glove,
  • ice cream stick.

NOTE: Make sure you use the correct length wick for the jar. If the wick is not long enough, the candle will burn incorrectly.

At the very beginning, clean well the vessel in which you will create the candle. In our case these are jars. Put dried flowers and lavender leaves inside. Do it in such a way that the plants rest against the walls of the jar.

Now tie the wick on the ice stick. Rest the stick against the jar so that the other end of the wick is in contact with the bottom of the container.

The key step is to melt the waxy solid.

If you can’t buy paraffin, you can melt candles that you have at home, but it is important that they have the same color. Clean the candles thoroughly, remove dirt and wicks.

Take a tin and place the wax in it.
