Good air quality is becoming more and more difficult (especially in big cities), so today I’m going to introduce you to some air-purifying pot plants. Potted plants that purify the air
Let’s start with the classic one, often ridiculed and considered old-fashioned. Fern is rather found in offices or school corridors, while it is not often taken in the bedroom. However, this is a big mistake, because this plant effectively fights against pollution. It absorbs harmful compounds and humidifies the air.

More and more often you can find it on Instagram, and this means that this plant is back in favor! Thick and fleshy leaves of this plant are not only a beautiful decoration of any interior, but also absorb many harmful substances and toxins from the air. In the past it was also found in many homes, today it is more often found on school windowsills. No wonder – this plant doesn’t require too much care and is very useful, so it should definitely appear in every home or workplace! Dracaena can neutralize many harmful substances including formaldehydes, which are used for example in the production of plastics. Additionally, it fits into many interiors.

Otherwise known as the house palm, it is not only very easy to care for, but also has decorative qualities and of course, the most important one, that is, it purifies the air. It can handle most toxic compounds including aldehyde.
A beautiful plant that should be in the mix where there are smokers. It can absorb the harmful compounds that are found in tobacco smoke and purify the air. As for its maintenance, it needs plenty of light but little moisture.

Aloe vera is a plant worth having in your home. Not only will it help you maintain your health or flawless beauty, but it also cleanses the air of harmful substances. Remember, however, that it needs plenty of light and positive temperatures.
