Prepare all tools and supplies such as:

scissors, wide tape, super glue, pins, thread, white terry sock, buttons, scrap fabric and about 1kg of rice.

Cut off the foot part of the sock just few inches before the heel. The foot part is going to be a hat later on.

...and this part is going to be the body!

Turn it on the left side before you tie the end with a thread.

Take a piece of thread and wrap the end of the cut sock very tight with it

Now turn it back to the right side.

Take the wide tape ring and pull the cuff of the sock through it. Stretch it over the tape ring to make it more comfortable to pour the rice into it.

Pour the rice into the sock, you can use the measuring dish instead of a spoon, it’ll probably be faster. The more rice you add, the more bumpy your snowman will be, but we estimated 1kg was the limit.

Shape Snowman’s body a bit before you tie it on top and shape his head

Tie the top with a thread to close the body. Do it firm to avoid the rice from coming out.

Cut the thread leftover, we want him to be smart and handsome!

Shape the head by tying a thread around the “neck” few times.

Now it is time to become a real stylist. Go creative here, and give him the best clothes you can make!

Warm him up with a scrap fabric scarf...

Fold the foot part of the sock 2 or 3 times to make a cosy hat

Pour a little bit of super glue onto the button and carefully stick it to his belly (you may optionally use double sided tape!). Do the same thing with a second button.

The most important part is the face that means personality ;) Take three pins and make this cute, little face appear!

Now you are ready with your new, snowy friend... or Snow Sockman as some say ;)
