Once it’s quite warm, carefully pour the liquid into a blender and slowly blend the mixture until thoroughly combined and frothy. Garnish the drink with a little sprinkle of sesame seeds of you like.
6. Chili Chai Latte from Earth Sprout
Simply divine!
serves : 1l Chai
Ingredients:
3 cups plant milk of choice
3/4 cups plant cream of choice
2 pieces of Star anise
2 sticks of Cinnamon
1tsp cloves
1tsp hole cardamom
1tsp fresh Ginger
1tsp hole black peppercorns
0.5tsp Pure Vanilla
Chili to taste
Instruction:
Crush the Cardamom and Black peppercorns gently in a mortar.Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil, let it simmer for at least 10 minutes.
Note: Bring the spices to a boil with some water before you make the latte. This way the spices will be more generous in flavor when you make the chai latte.
BY THE WAY. Get a milk frother, it will change your life. With a milk frother you simply add the spices/superfoods/herbs of your choice directly to the milk before frothing it + pouring it over the herbal coffee. It’s genius. Seriously. It’s one of our best kitchen hacks at the moment !
