The day has come. Children and teenagers can finally go to school. Thinking of this return we have prepared a bunch of resourceful solutions that will make the months of school life ahead of them much more bearable. Learn the school tricks and let it be up to you whether you share them with your schoolmates or not…
#1 Lemon strike
If you want to remove highlights in your books, get some lemon juice, soak a Q-tip and do the erasing!
#2 Bread reinvented
Lost your eraser? That’s not a problem at all. There are a few items that can substitute it. You can use a piece of bread or a rubber band wrapped around a pencil.
#3 Finger ruler
No ruler at hand? Use your fingers. The distance between the thumb and the index finger is 18 cm.
#4 How to get a good mark in geography
If you want to remember the names of planets, there is a silly sentence you can remember. First letter of the words correspond to the first letters of the planets: My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus,Neptune)
#5 Mini garbage can
To minimize the mess you make while sharpening pencils, put the sharpener into a Tic Tac box. Everything will stay there.
#6 A last-minute compass
How to draw a perfect circle without any professional equipment? Just tie two pens together, put an eraser in between and a temporary compass is ready!
#7 The battle against glue
Having problems with stuck glue bottles? Give them an oil bath. It will dissolve the dry glue.
#8 School hacks – your brain needs a warm-up
If you can’t get yourself motivated to learn, why don’t you start with a short warm-up that will get your brain working. Make up a few sentences consisting of words that begin with the same letter.
• Simon speaks slowly so Suzie starts snoring.
• My monkey makes mad moves making many mistakes.
#9 A crib instead of nail polish
If you don’t know where to hide a crib with the most important information you need for the test, write it on your nails. Your teachers are not very likely to spot it.
#10 Toothpaste at school
If you have run out of correction fluid, you can use white toothpaste instead. Only white!
#11 School hacks – hearts of clips
Do you keep losing your bookmarks? You can use paper clips! Bend their middle part inside so that they form ‘X’. If you attach them to a book page, they will look like little hearts.
#12 Recycling pencil case
If the pencil cases currently available on the market are nothing you are looking for, why don’t you make yourself one using two plastic bottles and a zipper?
#13 A graduated arc at hand
Human hand can easily replace a graduated arc if necessary. Just spread the fingers apart.
