How to Get Rid of Ants? There Is One Simple Way to Do It!

Higher temperatures mean that a lot of insects will visit our houses. And the last thing you want is certainly ant invasion!

How to get rid of ants without chemicals?
There are several dedicated chemicals that quickly remove ants from your house. However, what should we do if we have kids or pets and the last thing we would like to do is expose them to chemical traps? The only thing you can do then is try our home-made recipe for ant repellent!
Things you need:
- three glasses of warm water
- 3 spoonful of borax (sodium borate)
- a glass of sugar
- cosmetic cotton wads
- a bowl
- a few plastic bottle caps.
Step by step:
Mix borax with sugar. Then slowly pour in water still mixing. There should be no lumps so mix it till it’s smooth. Now put a cotton wad into it, leave it for a minute and put it onto a cap. Place several of them wherever ants have been spotted.
Why is this homemade trap effective?
This method is effective because sugar attracts the insects with its sweet scent while borax kills ants by damaging their digestive system and skeleton. This method works really well and really fast so the ants will soon disappear. Although the method seems very cruel, it is by all means powerful. Should it fail, you’d better hire an expert because the problem might be bigger than you think.
