Not Only Does the Way We Hang Toilet Paper Has Been Dividing Mankind, but It Also Tells a Lot About the True Nature of the Individual

The heated dispute concerning the most appropriate way of hanging toilet paper is still going on. An American psychotherapist has decided to take a closer look at the problem.

An American invention

The toilet paper was invented by an American entrepreneur called Seth Wheeler. Its mass production commenced in 1877. In Europe it was Walther Alcock who, two years later, was the first to manufacture this priceless commodity. Wheeler also came up with an instruction guiding the first users how to hang the rolls appropriately and tear each piece off. As you can see, those who prefer the ‘over’ position can feel like winners now.

On the other hand, people who prefer the ‘under’ position tend to be submissive and constantly look for acceptance. They might feel lost in the society and often look for soul-mates.
