    Countless colorful pebbles glittering in the sun attract thousands of tourists. Most of them have no idea where they came from. And perhaps this is something they wouldn’t quite like to learn.

    What makes people come here is millions of tine pebbles glistering in the sun

    You can walk on them quite safely and many visitors decide to take at least one piece home as a souvenir

    What they down know is the fact that what they actually take home is a piece of garbage from an old landfill site, dating back to 1960's

    These colorful pebbles are glass left from broken bottles and other glass containers which weren’t properly cleaned when the dumpsite was being removed
