    Mike Bowers, an American geologist, came across a piece of volcanic rock Soledade, Rio Grande, Brazil. Once he cut it in two, he couldn’t stop laughing.

    The rock in question is an agate, normally coming in a variety of shades of blue. However, it is not the case with all its varieties. Usually they are formed with layers of many colors, normally rather pale. They have been mined since the ancient times and are still used in the jeweler business. They are also used in precision mechanics to make bearings and abrasive elements. However, Mike Bowers’ finding is not going to end up like this.
