Most of us do not have enough time to take care of the garden. Some places look as if they owners had no time at all. Be that due to the lack of time or just bad ideas, they look neglected. Or even scary!
Here come 21 gardens that look barely encouraging. I don’t think you will feel like relaxing there…
#1 The Venus de Milo matches it so well
Not only is the garden rather shabby, but if that was not enough, the dead branch of the neighbor’s tree makes it even more spooky.
#2 When the gardener doesn’t get paid
#3 When mother nature takes over your lawn
Houses on slopes are a luxury and a nightmare at the same time. The sliding soil does not make it any easier when it comes to arranging the garden. Some plants just grow wherever they want once you stop controlling them. One of such plants is the staghorn sumac. If you have seen one in your garden, you must know what we are talking about.
#4 The camouflage is rather pathetic but the whole idea is not that bad!
#5 At first I thought it was a construction site. But I am afraid it is a modern vision of a concrete rock garden
#6 Even dogs seem sad here
#7 Some gardens do not have to look good. They just feed you
Still, it doesn’t mean you don’t have to take care of it. When you come back from holidays, it won’t be that neat and tidy anymore.
#8 This is so original
Always think about what you put on the lawn and whether it should be moved while mowing it. Some of us are just too lazy to move anything…
#9 It used to be so gloomy
But things don’t get changed just because we look at them. They need our constant attention and there is always something to do about them.
#10 Are you sure tastes are not to be discussed?
Although we often encourage our readers to reuse things as plant pots, some of these ideas are just too scary to watch, not only for children.
#11 It is not nice at all
#12 I would sooner go for a dwarf
#13 The symbol of your neighbors’ intrusiveness
#14 Ant surveillance
… or someone took our advice to care about plants too seriously.
#15 When you want a garden, but you can afford just a balcony
#16 What could I say?
#17 I have no idea how this could be possibly working
#18 When your garden looks like a fairy tale location
Are you fond of garden gnomes, too?
