Wooden Doormat

Assemble colorful slats to make this Wooden Doormat!
What do you do to welcome your guest kindly? Of course a smile and a hug. But what do they see first, before you open the door? Yes, your doormat. I had never wondered about the importance of a doormat until I saw a doormat with an inscription ‘Good friends, good food, good time’ I really felt welcome!

A nice doormat already creates a ‘before you enter’ atmosphere and that’s what Britany of One Good Thing probably subconsciously wanted to gain with her outstandingly beautiful Wooden Doormat. The project is so easy that it can be completed in one day. Who would have thought a few colourful slats assembled together can change the ambience?

If you want to see a more classical doormat version have a look at this River Stone Doormat. I’m also eager to see how you welcome your guests.
