Watermelon Serving Tray

Make this adorable serving tray for backyard parties!
I must confess I’m a watermelon junkie. Together with zucchini, this juicy and refreshing fruit is my basic summer food. I usually add it to fruit salads, use it as a sorbet base or eat it simple as it is. I even used it as a cake base when I was trying out the No Bake Watermelon Cake. But today I’m not going to present you next dessert recipe, but a watermelon-inspired serving tray!

Apart from its practical side, this easy and fun DIY project will make a great decoration for all backyard parties you’ll throw during the summer. I’m sure your kids will appreciate it’s cheerful look too. If you follow few easy steps from a tutorial created by Mandy Pellegrin of Fabric Paper Glue, soon you’ll be able to show off with your handmade tray.

If you prefer watermelon in its traditional form ;) do check simple summer recipes and we’ve already presented on our page, like Watermelon Beverage Keg, Cake or Grill.

Hope this neat tutorial inspires you to make and present your versions of the project here on our website. We’re waiting for your photos!
