Straw Play Structures

Use this simple material to build amazing shapes with your kids!
I perceive myself as a creative person, but I know there are a lot of great ideas I wouldn’t stumble upon myself. Many times I used to say to myself “Why didn’t I think of it?!” The one I’ve got for you today perfectly fits this category.

You may know that straws are not only for drinking. As a child, I used to make bubbles with them, but I had never thought of using them as a building material until I saw this Straw Plane we presented a few months ago. Today I’ve got another smart idea from Handmade Charlotte. By connecting two, or more straws you can create crazy structures with your kids, and you don’t need any additional materials to do this.

I hope this project will bring you and your kids a lot of fun and that you’ll create many interesting shapes together. We’ll be happy to see them on our website in user gallery!
