Straw Plane

Unusual and quick plane built from straw and paper!
When I saw this super simple project, I couldn’t believe that it really works, and I’m quite sure that your reaction will be similar. I love paper planes and their flying capability is beyond doubt, but how is it possible for two paper circles and a straw to fly?

This smart and surprising project comes from “All for the boys” website I wrote about few days ago. Allison, who hosts the place, does a great job in finding and creating projects for male youngsters. But let’s go back to the Straw Plane - the construction needs minimal work, and despite its odd look, this plane flies better than a paper one! It’s easily customizable - your kids can color the circles and use different straws for their fleet.

If your kids loved the idea, let them share the pics of their planes with others on our fan page :) If you know other ideas for unusual flying units ;) let us know there about them too.
