How to Store Onion and Garlic

Turn lunch bags into special vegetable packages!
I must admit that I have some problems with veggies storing. I try to remember what can I put into the fridge what I can’t. Moreover I've got fruits and vegetables all over the kitchen, because part of them can be kept in a sunlit place, others can’t. It’s hard to storage all of them in the right way. My biggest problem is keeping potatoes fresh, I still haven’t found the right way of storing them.

Luckily, Monica Matheny showed an ingenious solution for keeping onions, garlic and shallots. She runs a great website with many, many awesome recipes and tips - ‘The Yummy Life’. She instructs clearly and thoroughly how to turn simple lunch bags into veggie packages. She says that her family has been used this method for many years. Time for us to try this out!
