Soap Clouds

Let your children have fun with this soap cloud before they take a bath!
Do you sometimes lie on the grass just to observe clouds? Whenever we go on a picnic by the river I try to find a moment only for myself to immerse in the peacefulness of my mind and watch the clouds. I always make associations with the shapes they create and wonder where they go.

Once I made Homemade Clouds for my son, they still proudly hang in his bedroom. Now I found another interesting cloudy idea on Our Best Bites. Sara’s recipe for Soap Clouds is excellent way to encourage your younger kids to take a bath. First, you start your microwave for a couple of minutes on high power then you put the soap inside and watch how it becomes a fluffy cloud. This gigant blob may be later smashed in a bowl and the mass can be used to form different shaped soap. I’ve tried this with my kids and believe me they enjoyed each stage of the fun activity.

If you know other soap entertainment ideas we are eager to see them on our website.

Ivory is whipped with air, and that’s why it works in the microwave so well. But I think you can replace it with any other air-whipped soap.
