Simple Summer Hammock

Stretch out and relax in this Simple Summer Hammock!
Who doesn’t want to bask in the sun? I look for every opportunity to catch a few sunrays and get suntanned. I think I used to be a cat in my previous life ;)

Last year I was inspired to build a Pallet Hanging Bed but I gave up the idea for a more conventional Simple Summer Hammock. Kate Pruitt’s design presented on Design Sponge caught my eye as soon as I saw it. Using a sturdy and colourful fabric you can conjure a comfortable place to stretch out and relax. In my mind I’m already having a pleasant nap in my parents’ garden.

I’m pretty sure you’ll get inspired by this project too. Let us know about your hammock by sending pictures to our website.
