Shoe Box Charging Station

Organize your cords in this shoe box!
Looking under my working station desk always drives me mad. The snarl of computer, monitor, printer, loudspeakers, lamp cords mixed with mobile phone and laptop chargers looks terrible. I tried to roll the cables together but the view was still miserable. That’s why I got very enthusiastic when I found a charging station made out of a simple shoe box. Shoe Box Charging Station was posted by Dagmar Bleasdale on Everyday Family. The idea is highly practical as it helps to organize the messy coils of cords. I’ll put all adapters and charges into this organizer.

There is always a risk of fire, even if the cables are not hidden in a shoe box.
This tutorial is only a suggestion how you can hide them :)

we think that the key thing is to ventilate it properly :) you can also use aqua-based flame resistant coating for paper that contains no heavy metals :)

How is this any more of a fire hazard than having the plug-in strips on carpeting or near drapes, both of which are highly flammable? Besides, the strip is designed to shut down when overloaded. I have been looking at a tangle of cords for too long and think this is a brilliant idea!
