Power Drill Apple Peeler

Baking lots of Apple Pies? Use this extraordinary set of tools to make your life easier!
The story of this smart hack is simple. Dutch Chef Jasper van Ramshorst received a large order for his tarte tatin and found that he could not do the job with his regular kitchen appliances. Being in a hurry, he turned to DIY and used a peeler and a power drill to do the job. As you may see in the movie filmed by his colleagues, this surprising fusion of tools solved the problem in a spectacular way.

As a fan of time-saving ideas, I had to give it a go myself. All I can say it’s nothing but brilliant and if you speed up the power drill it’s even sensational ;) The pile of apples is no longer a problem - all you need to do is to stick them on the end of the drill and rest a peeler against them as they spin at high speed.

Hope you’ll enjoy my version of the hack and share it - this bright idea deserves it for sure! If you happen to be in Barneveld (Holland) don’t forget to visit Eetcafé de Gribus and greet this inventive guy!
