Personal Fire Pit

Prepare for chilly days by building this Personal Fire Pit!
It’s summer now so probably nobody thinks about sitting at a fireplace and warming up. But summer is a good time to make plans and construct a cosy one.

If you don’t have enough space in your living room to make a traditional fireplace, look how you can combine easy-to-find materials to have a portable version of the ‘heater’ Karen of The Art of Doing Stuff has done her best to assemble a homemade Personal Fire Pit. It isn’t one of those with sizzling sausages but it certainly adds magical atmosphere to the room. Moreover, when the evenings get chilly at the end of August you can take it out to your patio. There’s also another DIY solution for a bigger fireplace made out of old Washing Machine Drum, but this one is recommended for outdoor use only.

Will you get heated by one of those? Tell us what you think about these designs.
