Paper Toy Transformer – All Steps

Stick paper strips together to create this awesome paper toy!

We have been searching for a nice paper toy for a long time. Happily we found a great inspiration and decided to give it a go. It turned out that this paper toy is not so difficult to manage, and it’s totally crazy toy for everyone. We bet you won’t be able to stop playing, as this is incredibly addictive!

So if you have some colorful paper, check out full steps and video tutorial, and make it. This toy will be perfect for exercising your child's spatial imagination, or great for calming down. It’s just simple paper, and it has so multiple uses.

What you need:


  • Scissors
  • Written out ballpen
  • Ruler

Supplies / ingredients:

  • Template
  • Adhesive tape
  • Pencil
  • Sheet of paper A4

Prepare all tools and supplies!

Use written out ballpen to mark lines, as you will be folding the paper stripes along them, (these lines make it much easier!)

Cut off sheet’s edges and next cut out 8 strips. Later, you turn them into this awesome Paper Toy!

Fold each of 8 strips at two spots, exactly as the lines show you! Do it carefully :)

Using a tape connect stripes to make 8 triangles.

Connect triangles along to the longest sides to get 4 parts of Paper Toy. If you made this as we did, connected triangles should fold exactly like in the picture!

Now take two parts of Paper Toy connect them with tape, this time along to shortest edges!

Take these two elements, they need to be connected along the medium edges, and now tape together two outer parts.
