Paper Sign Gift Topper

Birthday present ribbons with a pop-up message
I really like presents that are wrapped in a creative way. It’s great to see how much effort and care was put into making you happy. Sometimes, when the packaging is handmade, it becomes a sort of a second gift. And who wouldn’t like to be given twice as many presents at once?

This neat idea from Martha Stewart’s Craft Dept is a creative gift wrapping with a pop-up message ribbon made of strips of paper. It’s pretty convenient since you don’t need to prepare a separate greeting card.

The wrapping consists of three paper ribbons of different sizes with cut out letters that create birthday message. It’s doesn’t seem to be very difficult to make although you need to be precise when cutting the signs. We think it’s better to use simple lettering as a base for signs since more complicated and curvy may be difficult to cut.

As always, we eagerly wait for your versions of the project - do share them with us on our fan page.
