Paper Corner Bookmark

Cut corners and make a bookmark!
Hey bookworms, I’m just in the middle of ‘The Game of Thrones’ series which is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable and captivating books I’ve ever read. When I realized, I mark my favorite book with a piece of handkerchief I thought it deserved better. I know that people use various materials such as metal, leather, wood just to return to the page with ease. Do you remember how our yarn freak Manuela wrote about Pom Pom Bookmarks?

I liked the idea, but I tracked down a more conventional Corner Bookmark presented by Denise on "d.Sharp Journal". The bookmark featured there is made by cutting off old envelopes corners.

I made and ornamented my Corner Bookmark with my favourite George R.R. Martin’s quote: “Sleep is good, he said, And books are better.” What inscriptions will you put on your bookmarks? Don’t wait to share ideas on our fan page.

A blow-by-blow tutorial of how to make the Corner Bookmark is shown here.
