Magazine Page Gift Bow

Watch our video tutorial and make this easy upcycled gift topping!
Tadam! Our video tutorial for Magazine Page Gift is ready :) We hope you're gonna enjoy it as much as the photo tutorial (we know that scrolling can be a problem for some of you, but on the other hand there is a group that prefers steps to be shown on pictures). As you can see, we do our best to satisfy all of you (and we hope we succeeded this time):)

This cheap but decorative gift topping requires little if any patience or skill. We promise that the whole procedure won't take more than 15 minutes! All you need is a few tools and a page from a magazine with nice, colorful picture on it. If you have no snap-off blade knife or cutting board, scissors will do. You can also replace stapler with double-sided tape. Would be lovely if decided to show off with your bows in comments below :)

What you need:

  • A snap-off blade knife
  • A stapler
  • A ruler
  • Scissors
  • A pencil

Supplies / ingredients:

  • Magazine page or any other paper material
  • Double-sided tape

First, be sure you have all needed tools and supplies at hand :) Time to start!

Take your magazine and cut out a page that you like the most. Then place it vertically on a table.

Grab a pencil and mark off nine 3/4-inch-long (2 cm) sections at the top and the bottom of the page.
