Hanging Garden

Save space and plant your herbs in Hanging Garden!
I've come to realize that I have a farmer soul. I hanker after the idea of having my own wooden cottage and I desire my own piece of land. Living in an apartment in a block of flats limits so many possibilities. I hope to fulfill my dreams one day.

In the meantime inspired by Woodland Herb Garden I started looking for some other similar projects. Ben Uyeda from Homemade Modern presents how to make a DIY vertical Hanging Garden which gives more space for variety of plants. You can set them out in five rows hanging one under the other. The idea is so simple yet still brilliant and space-saving.

What herbs are you planning to plant? Do you have other ideas for herb gardens? Don’t wait to share them on our website.

I like the idea, but what about watering. afaik the spices need plenty of water (from below). any solution for this? :)

I guess it waters itself some way. Pouring water into planters on the highest level allows to water the rest through little holes on the bottoms of planters. The only thing this project lacks is the long plate on the floor to gather the excess water.
