Half Globe Lampshade

Turn an old globe into unique light fixture cover
Have you ever dreamed of a lampshade made of real half of a globe? Well, I haven't, but I could imagine it under my ceiling. Meet Roeshel who creates this "DIY Show off" site, and she's the author of this extravagant and awesome Half Globe Lampshade that she calls - Globe Light Fixture Cover.

She seems to be a very creative person who loves globes and different types of shades. Although I am not a huge fan of marine style, I liked this project straight away. You can finish it your own way and also use it for a table lamp if you prefer. Whatever you choose to turn this half globe into, remember that the world is your oyster!
