Fishbowl Lantern

Use aquarium stones to make this illuminating lantern!
In my opinion pottery classes are one of the best classes my son’s school offers. After just a few lessons, my son got grounding in pottery fundamentals. He knows how to center a mound of clay, throw, trim it, and he’s able glaze the pots. I was so proud when he brought home his first handmade bowl.

His engagement and motivation encouraged me to produce my dishes. Obviously, we don't have a pottery wheel at home, so I started with a different ceramic project I found on Artistic Junkie. Fishbowl Lantern is so beautiful and delicate that it gives ambient light. The glass marbles let the light shine through so the view of colorful rays of light give a delightful feast for eyes. As soon as you catch the ceramic bug, try out Sea Glass Bowl project.
