Farmhouse Table

Construct your rustic table!
A table has always been the centre of my house, it has witnessed a lot of family gatherings. I believe the table is the real heart of my house. It’s got multipurpose functions serving as food-prep surface, playground for kids and at the same time a place where I can sit down for comforting meals and heart-felt conversation. If the table spoke, it would whisper some family secrets straight into your ear.

For some time I’ve been dreaming to assemble a new, bigger table for my kitchen. I knew I wanted a workstation and eating table combo. I’ve been following one of my favourite designers Ana White, who came up with a Farmhouse Table which adds a lot of character to the kitchen. MDF Board Shelf, which Simon presented some time ago, will make a perfect addition to my rustic style table.

If you are into this country style furniture, give it a try and bring an earthy, vintage character of this table to your home, after all nothing can beat the warmth it will bring to your kitchen. Show us the results of your work on our fan page.
