Epsom Salt Luminaries

Make these adorable decorative jars to light up your place!
You know well that I love jar tutorials. Recently I wrote about two great projects: Mason Jar Color Lights and Soap Dispenser. I adore all decorations made from glass containers, and I’ve never seen any ugly project based on them.

Amanda Formaro, the owner of Crafts By Amanda website, wrote about Epsom Salt Luminaries as a winter decoration, but I must admit that these jars are good as all seasons decor elements. Their cost of creating is very low, you can use some old jars, salt, glue and gloss sealer. Sounds like a piece of cake? Trust me, it is, and finally you’ll get extremely delicate and universal decoration.

To znaczy ze groboziarnista sol morska sobie z tym nie poradzi tak? Do takiej wlasciwie mam pelen dostep bo mieszkam na poludniu.

Możesz spróbować, a nuż sobie poradzi. Jednak w tutorialu autorka pisze wyraźnie, że użyła soli Epsom i że według niej taki efekt wygląda najlepiej :) W każdym razie trzymamy kciuki :) Daj znać co Ci wyszło (a najlepiej prześlij nam zdjęcie)

I use Epsom salt to simulate snow. As a winter decoration I create a snow scene on my fireplace mantle. I have children skating on a mirror pond, sledding down a hill, etc. I scatter Epson salt over the mantle and it’s amazing how realistic it looks.
