Emergency Butter Candle

Cut your stick of butter into half and turn it into 4 hours-of-light candle.
If you have ever been in a power outage stuck, you know it isn't fun. Without any candles, oil lamps or flashlight it’s even worst. We end up stumbling all the time in the dark. That’s why I would like to show you a helpful tutorial for no electricity situation.

One of the contributors of ‘Instructables’ showed us how we can turn a stick of butter into candle. You will be surprised how simple and clever this ‘MacGyver Style’ butter candle is. Simply cut your stick of butter in half, put a hole in it with a skewer or toothpick and insert one of your toilet paper wicks. One thing to note is this only works with butter with a high-fat content, otherwise your butter won't stay lit.
