Brilliant Heat Mat

Reuse your rope lights and use some plywood to help your plants in growing.
I know it's the middle of winter and right now we should warm up near to the fireplace with a hot cocoa instead of thinking about planting. But I have something that will warm your plants when finally we drift into gardening time.

I am highly motivated by Greg from the ‘Vegetable Gardener’ who came up with a brilliant spot how to make Worming Mat. He shows, step by step, how to turn a ‘plank’ of plywood and some long wood into a simple but very useful holiday project for gardeners. I’m sure that you can build a mat like that and add some warmth to benefit the growing process. This mat does the job of warming the soil quite nicely. This homemade hit mat is as effective as one newly bought in the store and can certainly replace that expensive one.

What do you think about this design? Would you like to try it out in your garden? Let us know about the results in the future.
