V-stitch Ripple Afghan

Use some bulky yarn to make an Afghan blanket!
Cold, dark winter evenings usually encourage us to sit on the couch, sip hot chocolate and produce Crochet items. With an overwhelming collection of little products you've made, one day you may come to the point in your crochet adventure and desire to complete a bigger project.

If you've chosen to make a blanket, which, by the way, is an impressive challenge, we can recommend V-Stitch Ripple Afghan. Kara of ‘Petals to Picots’ gave a comprehensive tutorial on making a cosy cover using this stitch. Choose coordinating warm colors to make it look as sunny as possible!

Have you ever tried such a big crochet project? How did it go? Tell us about it!
