There are different kinds of mandarin oranges on the market. For this project pick the brighter one with thinner peel.

Peel the top of the fruit.

Do the same on the bottom.

Now, you should have a peel belt around the fruit.

Tear the peel where the two segments are connected.

Roll the fruit out, separate the segments with your thumb if needed.

Serve it on a plate…
