Peel Garlic in 10 Seconds

Use this trick to remove garlic skin!
Garlic is one of main ingredients in my recipes, its strong taste adds sharpness to mild dishes which immediately gain a new level of flavor. I always use it in my Veggie Spiral and Chicken Broccoli Braid. The only drawback and widely common problem is garlic peeling. I hate when the skin doesn’t want to come off or when I can’t get rid of the smell from my fingers.

When I first saw a video of Peeling Garlic in 10 Seconds on The Kitchn I thought it was a kind of trick. Todd Coleman just breaks the bulb into cloves with his hand, puts them into two fitting bowls and shakes vigorously for a few seconds. I haven’t tried it out yet but I think the method pushes most hated tedious and time-consuming task toward oblivion.

Will you be relieved to see cloves with no skin? Can you come up with some other creative tricks for garlic peeling? Feel free to share your ideas below the post.
