Jello Cookies

Have fun with your kids by making these colorful cookies!
It’s a lot of fun to combine preparing food with playing with it. The tutorial I’m going to present you today enables you to engage your child in the process of cookies. Kneading the dough together with your kid is involving and funny sensory activity.

One part of this tutorial is playful dough like in Homemade Play Dough, and the second is jello-based recipe like in XXL Watermelon Jell-O-Shots. This combination makes parents and children equally interested in making it. The idea comes from I Heart Naptime website. Jamielyn, who’s the author, puts great emphasis on spending time with kids, and that’s why she prepared these cookies involving her son.

What is your kiddos favorite activity? When do they help you the most? Let us know in comments below!
