Cheese Christmas Tree

Create an unusual, delicious christmas appetizer out of cheese!
Simple doesn't have to mean "not creative", that is why our next tutorial conjoins simplicity with creativity on the table. It’s an easy project and making it doesn’t require much time or ingredients. You just do the most popular holiday icon with the cheese. It looks palatable, and for sure it is more outstanding than simple composition of cheese or ham on the plate. In addition, I can give you advice: to make your food tree more colorful, you can mix few types of cheese, like green or red pesto. You can also put green olives between cheese twigs. In a really simple way, you can create perfect appetizer.

What you need:

Tools:

  • knife
  • cookie cutter
  • barbecue stick
  • plate

Supplies / ingredients:

  • cheese
  • apple
  • green pepper
  • optional: cherry tomatoes, lettuce

First, cut an apple in two halves.

Put a barbecue stick into a round part of your apple.

Now, cut earlier prepared cheese slices into triangles. Next, cut them into smaller triangles as shown on the picture below.

Here comes the main part: impale cheese triangles on the barbecue stick. Start with the biggest slices, end with the smallest ones. Arrange them with sharp ends outwards.

Cut the star out of green peppper.

Time for decoration – put a pepper star on the top of your tree and enjoy your special snack :)
