A family from Salt Lake City, USA, went a few steps further than everyone else and permanently transformed their homestead into a gingerbread house. Their cottage looks simply fabulous.
This house is not only decorated for Christmas. The holidays last all year round – to the delight of not only the household members but also the neighbors
The Hoffman family, who live in a gingerbread house, came up with the idea of rearranging their property a few years ago. Since then, new elements have been added on the occasion of various holidays
The house looks as if it was actually made of icing, cakes and various sweets. It looks great especially in winter, when it is covered with snow
The house owes its appearance, on the one hand, to the master of the house, who is a local artist, and Mrs. Hoffman, who has shown great determination in restoring the property
The main inspiration for the house is, of course, the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, but it has elements of other fairy tales, including Shrek
Much to the disappointment of many internet users, the house is reportedly not edible (checked!)
Would you like to live in such a house for a few days?
