Is this a house of a rich celebrity or a business tycoon with vast bank accounts? No, nothing like this. It’s just a bookstore that someone decided to look somewhat extraordinary. And you have to admit they were so successful!
This magical bookstore is called Dujiangyan Zhongshuge. It is in Dujiangyan in south-west China. There are well over 80,000 books inside
The floor is covered with shining tiles and the mirror ceilings create the illusion of endless space
The books pile up all the way from the floor to the ceiling. That is why the place looks like a never-ending palace of books
The bookstore Has Got two stores and covers the area of 1,000 square meters. It was designed by Li Xang, the founder of X + Living, a Chinese architecture studio
It was all inspired by the ancient city of Dujiangyan. The objective was to create a feast for eyes and soul at the same time
