Lithuanian architects proved that while building a new bus station it is not at all necessary to cut down trees growing on the designated plot. All works can be carried out in harmony with nature.

The building was built on a triangular-shaped plot. It has an area of about 4 m² and one thing stands out. During the construction the surrounding trees were not cut down. What is more, they became a part of the station. It gives the impression that the grey and white color building is in the middle of the forest.

When constructing this new station, local authorities were inspired to also create new jobs for local people. Another important issue was ecology and care for nature. No trees were harmed during the construction. 😉 The building houses services and commercial premises. Additionally, it has rooms where concerts, performances and various cultural events can take place.
