There is nothing worse than having to spend Christmas alone as a child, and on top of that in a hospital. However, the staff of one of the institutions came up with a simple but great idea how to give their patients a little joy.
On the occasion of Christmas one of the hospitals in Texas (USA) decided to invite a group of volunteers with golden retrievers, dressed in Christmas pyjamas
The surprise of the sick children was immense, and they were all very happy to receive this unexpected gift
For many of the facility's "little charges," it was a rare moment of returning to normalcy and a substitute for the warmth of a family home
Elsa, Pinto, Pluto and Bailey were the names of the dogs that gave the children a surprise. They are specially trained dogs, full of kindness, calmness and understanding
