Have you ever wondered what the Statue of liberty or the Eiffel Tower look like seen from above? I haven’t, but luckily someone made the effort and took some pictures from such perspective. Yes, they are worth looking at!

The tower was built as part of the international exhibition held in Paris in 1889. It was also to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the French revolution. Originally the tower was to be disassembled once the events were over. When it was built, it was the tallest structure in the world. Now it is still the tallest structure in Paris.

Of course, as we all know, it is still there and it’s perhaps the most recognizable symbol of France. Together with baguettes.

The photographer’s drone had a really difficult task to do. It had to fly up to 180 meters to take the photo. That comes as no surprise bearing in mind the fact that the 30 St Mary Axe tower block is the second tallest building in London. On its top there is a banquet hall and its glazed walls let the guest admire the view of the capital of Great Britain

Built between 1959 and 1973 the structure is a model example of expressionism in modern architecture. The opening ceremony was attended by Queen Elisabeth II herself! Today it is one of the Australia landmarks, listed by UNESCO as world heritage on June 28 2007.

Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World) if a gift from the French to the Americans. It was built between 1884 and 1886 to commemorate the ally between these two nations during the Independence War.

The statue stands on an old fort that used to protect the port in New York.

It is commonly believed that this unusual temple is well over 2,500 years old. According to historians, however, it is no more than 1100- 1500 years old. Either way, it is certainly one of the oldest man-made structures on our planet. The shrines and other religious components are arranged following the Hindu cosmology. You can clearly see this in the bird’s eye view.
