As if that was not enough, not only can you drink but, but there are a few things more it can be used for.

    #1 Insect repellent

Coffee contains diterpenes which might be toxic for insects. Consequently, you can use coffee grounds to repel mosquitoes, fruit flies, beetles and other pests. All you need to do is scatter the grounds around the spot where you relax or simply leave a cup filled with grounds there.

You can also use them to protect your plants. Just pour it around and snails will be kept at bay.

Birthdays, anniversaries… Any occasion is fine to bring some flowers home. Have you forgotten to buy the fertilizer?

Just dilute some coffee and pour it into the flower vase. Nitrogen, magnesium and potassium that coffee contains will make the plant last longer.

Never pour undiluted coffee as it could be too sour!

You can also fill some old socks or tights with coffee grounds to create some portable air refreshers. Put them into shoes, bags, bedroom drawers or anywhere else this could come in handy.
