How to melt a CD to make it into a bowl shape?
Preheat the oven to about 300-390°F. Remove the white foil from the CD (the place for signing the CD). Place a glass or an empty can on a baking sheet. Place the CD on it (shiny side up) and put it in the oven. After 2-3 minutes, it will begin to melt. CD will become soft and stick to the glass. Then turn off the oven and take out the content, which will have a shape similar to a bowl or the glass that you've used.
