Renting an apartment is something most of us have to go through. Unfortunately, the landlords and landladies are not always as helpful and gentle as would expect them to be. Some of them seem to completely ignore any faults reported by the tenants. Be that mold on the walls or a leaking ceiling. And once they get down to it, the measures they take are only temporary. To say the least.
#1 The owner of this apartment did not react in spite of numerous reports of leaking ceiling. Only when a big chunk of it dropped on the floor, did he visit the place
#2 The landlords here did not want to believe that the apartment had been infested with snails. If you believe something does not exist, why bother about it?
#3 It’s no use renovating the bathroom if temporary solutions work just as well
#4 Temperature control sealed. Just in case the tenants want to heat the place too much
#5 Something you get when you ask your landlord for a higher table
#6 The landlord fixed a camera that also recorded sound
#7 Why fix a shower mixing faucet if you can install another one?
#8 Some of them will do anything just to avoid hiring an expert. This is how you can fix a leaking ceiling
#9 A pizza box recycling that has gone wrong
#10 The owner of the place stopped cleaning the pool as the kids played in it
#11 A temperature control glued to a nail. Of course not working at all
#12 Somehow this crack did not attract the landlord’s attention
#13 But that changed when the pipe stuck out
#14 ‘The ceiling will be fixed once it starts raining so that we will be able to determine the leaking spot.’
#15 Nobody bothers about fungus on the ceiling. Mushrooms are hardly different in this respect
#16 The landlord still believes that the apartment is not damp
#17 Just like here, where the size of leakage is not sufficient for the landlord to take measures
#18 Sometimes the way the windows were painted is enough to judge the landlords
#19 Somebody here does not take care about the tenants’ safety at all
#20 How to repair a cracking and leaking ceiling? Nail a board and the problem (at least in the landlord’s opinion) will be gone!
#21 And that’s what you get when you ask your landlord to fix the tower rail to the wall
Have you ever received ‘so much support’ from your landlords?
