What would say to a DIY bar? Low costs and little effort surprised the creator himself. Just take a look at how much you can get for so little.

Paul Nowak is a carpenter by vocation. His latest wooden project was really successful. All he needed to create a dark bar construction was a couple of pallets. Now, together with his family, they can enjoy themselves outdoors. Believe it or not, the entire construction work took him only two days.

The budget was just £90. After collecting all the necessary construction materials he immediately got down to the first part of the project. Interestingly, he managed to get most of the materials for free. Many cages and pallets were about to be recycled and the only funds he spent on the roofing, paint and a few details. One of his friends gave him a bunch of beer mats and some other gadgets that make the place look really tasteful.

Of course the structure is equipped with a fridge so that all beverages can be stored cool and the host won’t have to keep running there and back to serve cold beer.

Although he is not a carpenter by trade, he kept wondering what his life would be like if he had become a professional one. He often makes some minor items for his family and friends. This time he took on something larger and created a bar made of pallets.

When Paul published photos of his bar online, he received a lot of positive feedback. The post enjoyed 47,000 responses and 75,000 comments. People were astonished with his garden bar. Now he is looking for a sponsor so that he could create similar structures for people who don’t want to walk long distances to sip a lager, drinking some in their own garden pub instead.
