Evenings around the campfire are a dream for many people. If we have a garden, it is easy to set aside a small space for a place for this purpose.

A place for a bonfire can be made of many different materials. Sometimes it is stones, terrace tiles or paving stones, even old bricks are enough 🙂 .

#1 A hole dug in the ground lined with bricks, and the edge of the campfire draped with pieces of stone tiles

You can have a bonfire dug deeper into the ground or placed flush with the ground, but then the rim surrounding the bonfire is always a few good inches above the ground.
