    Soya substitutes

Soya candles are an interesting, eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable alternative to traditional wax and paraffin products. Moreover, they do not cause headaches, they are safe for children and pregnant women. They do not generate smoke, either. They are widely available on the market but you can also make one yourself.

How to make a soya candle

#1 Melt soya wax in water or in a microwave,

#2 Wait about 10 minutes until it gets slightly cloudy. Then add a few drops of your favorite scented oil, dried flower petals or spices (pieces of cinnamon stick, anise stars, pepper, cardamom, cloves)

#3 Put the wick on the bottom, attached to a stick and pour the wax. Remember that the wax can’t be too hot. It will be ready when it begins to get solid.

#4 When the candle is cold, cut the wick and light the candle.
