#1 Mirrorcube, a hotel in the trees in Harads, Sweden
A house tree called Mirrorcube seems to be completely invisible in the tree crowns. This mirror box contains a room with floor area of 20 square meters. The largest ones to rent there are 5 times bigger.
#2 Giraffe Manor, Nairobi, Kenya
Dating back to 1930's, Giraffe Manor is located on a 12-acre large piece of forest, home to a herd of giraffes, belonging to the Rothshilds, which often stop there to have a quick green snack.
#3 Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden
The Ice-hotel is the first hotel in the world to have been built of ice and snow. The hotel is located in a tiny village in the north of Sweden, inhabited by 1,100 people and 1,000 dogs. To build it, 1000 tons of the Torne river ice was used, together with 30,000 tons of 'snice', a mixture of ice and snow that reinforces the whole structure.

According to a website called Crazy Horse, the fundamental principle behind the design was to avoid the 'classical construction principles'/ The result to be admired in the picture.

The hotel is aboard a 4-engine Ilyushin 18 plane from the 1960's. There is a bar, a kitchen a sauna and a Jacuzzi inside.
