Sometimes we are too tired or too lazy to start cleaning or even to do the simplest orders at home. However, a clean home allows us to be healthier and to feel better. According to the research, we spend up to 87% of our time indoors, so make sure that such places are always clean.
Although, I know that cleaning is not a favorite activity for many people, which is why you will definitely like these tricks!
# 1 Yellow spots on the mattress
The right mattress makes us sleep well and feel more relaxed. However, lots of people still don't know how to clean it well. You'll need:
- warm water
- cleaning powder
Mix 1/2 tablespoon of powdered detergent with 250 ml of warm water. Place the mixture in the spray bottle and spray the mattress. Then scrub the dirty places for a few minutes and wait until it dries.
# 2 Cleaning the chopping board
Chopping board is often one of the most used items in the kitchen. No wonder we should pay more attention to the proper cleaning of this kitchen gadget. Take lemon and salt or baking soda.
If you want to remove stains and bad odors from the board, cut the lemon in half, and spread salt or soda on the board. Then rub the applied product with lemon. Wait a few minutes and then wipe everything with a paper towel.
# 3 Cleaning the fugue
If you want the shower fugues to be white again, take vinegar and baking soda. Mix both ingredients until you get a thick paste consistency. Apply the paste on dirty areas and wait 30 minutes. It's best if you apply the paste with an old toothbrush and lightly penetrate it into the dirty surface. Then rinse it with water.
# 4 Cleaning the iron
If you want to safely remove dirt from the iron, use baking soda, white vinegar and warm water. Add soda to the water and mix well until you get a paste-like consistency. Apply the paste to the surface of the iron and wait for about an hour. Wipe off the iron with white vinegar.
# 5 Cleaning the microwave in less than a minute
You'll need vinegar, a cloth or a sponge. Soak the sponge in vinegar and put in the microwave. Turn the oven on for 30 seconds. After that time, wipe fat and stains with a piece of fabric. Do not touch the sponge until it cools down!
# 6 Removing dirt from the water
The wooden surface can easily be damaged by hot dishes, spilled water or unskilful cleaning. Take an iron with steam function and a towel. Place the towel on a water dirt, turn on the iron and set it to the high steam level. Hold the iron over the material for several dozen of seconds. Check if the stain disappears - if not, repeat the procedure.
# 7 Cleaning white shoes
If you think that buying white sports (or unsports) footwear is a mistake and you'll certainly won't be able to clean them when they get dirty, you are wrong. Clean the bottom of the footwear to get rid of small stones and dirt that can clog the washing machine. Use an old toothbrush to do this. Now put your footwear in the washing machine inside the pillowcase. Perform a washing cycle at a temperature of about 30-35 ° C. After washing the shoes, use white washing liquid and a soft brush to clean the shoes.
# 8 Removing burnt fat
You need baking soda and hot (but not boiling water). Mix soda with water and fill the burnt container with the mixture. Wait a minimum one hour for the dirt to dissolve, then scrub the pot.
# 9 Cleaning kitchen cabinets from fat
Cold fat can be a challenge, but just start the kettle and remove the lid from it. When the water boils, place a kettle under the cabinet so the steam dissolves fat. Now take a sponge and wipe off the dirt. Remember, this method will not work with all types of furniture, e.g. not for those with veneer.
# 10 Cleaning the microfiber couch
Sofas made of microfibers can get dusty and dirty, but cleaning them is not so complicated. Take a white sponge, a brush with white bristles, a grain alcohol and a spray bottle. Pour the grain alcohol into the bottle, then apply it to the dirty place and scrub with a sponge. If the sponge gets dirty, replace it with a new one - you don't want to spread dirt any more, right? Wait until the sofa is dry and scrub it again.
